Efrain Cardenas began working in the food industry in Michoacan, Mexico at the young age of 13 in food preparation. He came to the United States and started working as a bus boy at Cancun Grill in 1992. Six months later, he was promoted to bar manager where he worked for twelve years.
While working at Cancun Grill, Efrain went to the International Bartender School in Miami, Florida. When owner, Martin Cardenas, opened Italy Today in April of 2004, Efrain was named Manager of the new restaurant. Ten years later, he is familiar to all those who dine at Italy Today. Efrain provides an exceptional experience for our guests in a family friendly atmosphere.
His experience in banquet management with Crazy Fork Catering assures clients their events will be memorable. When Efrain is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, especially when they share new dining experiences.
